HCVC MISSION

The major mission of the Hill Country Veterans Council is to:

1) Save VA Hospitals nationwide.
2) Lobby Congress for adequate funding for Veteran Healthcare nationwide.
3) Work to have VA Hospital facilities fully utilized.
4) Work to have all services, which were discontinued, at VA Hospitals restored to the 1995 level.
5) Provide assistance to and work with Veterans organizations throughout the nation to insure that Veterans receive the promised Healthcare.
6) Use the strong membership base to continue to disclose to the elected officials, VA leadership, and the public the enormous hardship our Veterans are going through in order to receive their promised Healthcare.
7) Encourage Veterans to register to vote and then vote so their impact will be felt in Washington. Provide assistance to all Veterans Service Officers in their local Voter Registration efforts.

All Veterans:

In order to accomplish this MISSION, we need the help of all our Veterans (all 30 million of you). We can make an impact, but we must use our numbers to influence Congress.

Therefore, each of us must pass on the messages posted on this web-site to other Veterans and their families. We must stay actively involved with our members of Congress. When action is needed, take pen in hand and write your members of Congress to support our Veterans nationwide.

The HCVC is looking forward to a lot of  promising progress in the future. We need for you to be part of the progress.
